Clubs

In Closing

When considering eating clubs, it is important to remember that there is no club that is 'better' then any other. Each go through different phases of popularity, and each has its own unique characteristics. There is only a 'better' fit for an individual student. Thus, Princeton underclass students are highly encouraged to keep an open mind and to experience each club during their first two years until they find a club that best fits their needs, wants and personality.

The clubs are amazing institutions where many upperclass students benefit from the work of their peers and predecessors in an intellectually and socially stimulating environment. Dining is only the most basic function of a club. The clubs provide so much more for not only their undergraduate membership but also their alumni. This guide was created as a resource for students and prospective students seeking to better understand how the clubs are an integral part of the University's campus life. We hope that each student and prospective student will form their own informed opinion of the eating club system by personally experiencing them and better understanding their unique purpose and benefit to the Princeton University campus.
